Data we process

We may process identity and contact details, appointment and order data, billing and payment data, communications and technical usage data. Where necessary for safe treatment, we also process health information, intake details, consents and treatment notes that you provide. Identifiable before-and-after photographs are processed only with separate consent.

Purposes and legal bases

We process data to provide appointments, treatments, courses, orders and payments; answer questions and complaints; comply with legal, accounting and safety duties; and secure and improve our website and services. Depending on the processing, the legal basis is performance of a contract, a legal obligation, your consent, protection of vital interests or our legitimate interest. Health data is processed only where a legal exception permits this, generally with explicit consent or where necessary for appropriate care and safety.

Recipients and transfers

Data is shared only where necessary and legally permitted, for example with authorised staff, hosting and IT providers, payment and communications providers, professional advisers, public authorities or healthcare providers in an emergency. Processors act under an agreement and appropriate security instructions. For transfers outside the European Economic Area, we use a legally recognised transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards.

Retention and security

We retain data no longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for applicable statutory limitation, guarantee, tax and accounting periods. Health and treatment records are retained for the periods applicable to the relevant care or professional activity. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures against loss, misuse, unauthorised access and unlawful alteration or disclosure.

Your rights

Subject to statutory conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, or object to processing. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Send your request to info@juman.be. We may request reasonable identification.
